ESSENTIALS OF COMMUNITY CYBERSECURITY

This 4-hour session will give individuals, community leaders and first responders information on how cyber attacks can impact, prevent, and/or stop operations and emergency responses in a community. It will also provide an introduction to cybersecurity vulnerabilities, risks, threats and countermeasures. Additional topics include types of threats (unstructured, structured and highly-structured), the Community Cybersecurity Maturity Model (CCSMM), how communities can initiate a cybersecurity program, and where to go for help.

Target audience: Personnel involved with critical infrastructure, emergency operations, and incident response in public or private organizations (state, county, and municipal officials); and members of industry affiliations and chambers of commerce.

This course will be held at ILEAS Training Center, Urbana.
