The Governor’s orders continue to limit gatherings, and the vaccine distribution is going slower than we anticipated. APWA is recommending that Chapters delay conferences and meetings that are scheduled for the first and second quarter. With all that in mind, the committee thinks it is best to go forward with rescheduling the Institute to July 11 - 16, 2021. We regret any inconvenience, but the good news is that we will be able to conduct an institute that is bigger, better, and safer this summer.
What does this mean for you if you are planning to attend the Institute in July?
-
Hopefully, you will be able to attend the Institute in July. If that is the case, your hotel reservations at the Holiday Inn and the Country Inn will be changed for arrival on July 11 and departure on July 16, 2021.
-
You do not need to contact the hotel. (Please note that if you have not booked a room or canceled your room, you need to contact the Holiday Inn at 217-540-7777 or the Country Inn at 217-540-5555.)
-
If you plan to attend in July, your Institute registration and payment will be transferred as well, and you need not contact Mary Bender.
What does this mean if you are not able to attend the Institute in July?
