PASER Training (In-Person training)
OVERVIEW: This course is intended to assist local officials in understanding and rating the surface
condition of asphalt, concrete, sealcoat, and gravel pavements. It will describe types of defects and
provides a simple system to visually rate pavement conditions. It also will present how to use the ratings
to assist in planning and budgeting. The course will consist of both classroom lecture and practicing
rating roads in the field.
