DISASTER MANAGEMENT FOR PUBLIC SERVICES — MGT-317
With this training, public service stakeholders including those from the City Staff, Public Works,
Utilities, and Emergency Management can extend their knowledge and skills for protecting their
communities and critical infrastructure (CI) from potential or actual threats. During this course,
participants work together in multidisciplinary teams to apply the course information with their
professional experience in a variety of hands-on, small group activities, and disaster scenarios.
Participants completing all four Critical Infrastructural Disaster Management courses (Disaster Management for Public Services, Disaster Preparedness for Hospitals & Healthcare Orgs within the Community, Disaster Management for Water and Wastewater Utilities, Disaster Management for Electric Power Systems) are eligible to apply for the Infrastructure Disaster Management Certificate. Recipients will receive a 10x13 certificate of Professional Recognition suitable for framing. There is no cost for the program.
